The Bible calls those who are to be Christians to first repent. To repent literally means to turn around and go the other direction. When you choose to follow Christ you're also choosing not to follow the world. We need to set ourselves apart.

It's an unnecessary error to keep falling into the same sinful things you were doing. Jesus has given you victory over that. Accept your identity in Christ, you're no longer of this world. You're a child of God now. You are a peculiar person from a royal priesthood.

Royalty doesn't behave the same way as everyone else!
