I want to make a #BBNaijaReunion related thread about Esther & Frodd for my #RabidAmdDebased. Y'all wanna read it?

Okay, since 4 people want to read it, here it goes. Remember in week 2 or 3 when Nelson had a conversation with SD in the garden about the reason Esther left her bed with Frodd? He was getting too handsy and inappropriate with her. She told N in confidence.

Her leaving the bed was part of why he was crying in the garden (in my opinion), she had publicly rejected him when he'd been so loud about his preference for her over Isi? Despite this, she gave him an audience when he wanted to ramble on with his subtle manipulation.

She was irritated by his clinginess, disgusted by his handsy behaviour - she told Nelson as much. Frodd went about the house maligning Nelson for the attention he was getting from Esther. Telling anyone who would listen that N was pretending to be sick so she would cater to him.

Nelson left the house and realised Esther wasn't "popular", his story changed - she was now the one pursuing him, the wicked one who he didn't really like that despite them being practically stuck like glue in the house.

Fast forward to relationship with Frodd - after they made up post the painting incident, they got close again. Perhaps influenced by V coming to the house and her basically being an island in the house, they rekindled their friendship.

He wasn't allowed to sleep in her bed for a while, she'd always kick him out. She was acerbic towards, didn't reciprocate his kindness and he didn't look after himself well enough to shift from her. That brings us to a second incident - the most important one.

The night they were play fighting in bed and he threatened to undress. She warned him against but from my recollection, she was more annoyed by his juvenile behaviour than scared. He took off his pants and bared his bottom. She then turfed him and refused to leave!

Until Big Brother called him into the diary room and asked him to go to his bed in the mainland. There was minus raucous about this incident on Twitter, if you recall? The next morning she was also called in to the DR. His continued participation in the house rested on what she

Said to Biggie. She left the DR looking rather solemn and went straight to his room to assuage his fears - she didn't mention the incident to anyone in the house, refused to discuss it when she was asked during the media round. Protected him from any backlash.

Other things happened with them - I wasn't sure she liked him at all until the incident. I don't mean the romantic sense. Then her panic when she thought he was going to fight SD? I was like, yeah, she cares about this boy. Etc - her protecting him when he was stung -

By what he saw as as Ikè's betrayal. Her acerbicity could and should have been tempered - I recall her telling him bare times that sarcasm and sharp banter was her thing but baba don love up so he couldn't give up. Anyways, the point of this long story is -

Nigerians are not used to a man making such a sustained effort with a woman and her not being moved by it. His kindness to her irritated people to the one where the lied that he was washing pata and bras for her. He's an intense guy who clearly doesn't know when -

Romance stops and irritation starts. She has been left to bear the brunt of the toxicity between them. His lack of respect for her physical and emotional boundaries has been overlooked. She's blunt and very level headed. That played against her.

The first radio interview he gave post the house, he snaked her. She never did that to him even though it would have been beneficial to her in the short term. His pride hurt by the his perception as a pata washer has caused him a lack of introspection and bitterness.

To hear his fans tell it, she's the reason he didn't win. Lol. Not his own over the top behaviour and lack of emotional intelligence. In the end they'll be just fine. But they're ill suited - she's playful (when she's comfortable) and banter oriented and he's all intensity.
