Every night the sky lit up with the Northern Lights &sometimes a view of Earth & ppl imagining what Earth is like

@LindseyStirling 2 years ago, I daydreamed a hummingbird guided me here.
On Earth, in the present day, there is a temple in the mysterious Bermuda Triangle which houses these colorful stones you see shining in the distance.

People could travel to Saraline and back before rockets

@LindseyStirling There's more to come about that. The third painting is back on Saraline. These hills in the distance, I just imagine walking towards this valley&crystal flowers and going up one of the hills around sunset. It's a beautiful view when I imagine it <3

@LindseyStirling However, there ARE some scary or dark elements to it. There's only one cave here. If you were afraid of the dark, in this cave, everyone must be careful not to travel in the dark. The darkness here messes with our minds and this creature will feed on sadness :O

@LindseyStirling Last weekend,I made this painting of an incident on Earth dating back thousands of yrs ago. The creature in the smoke was mistaken for an angel,when it was avenging Saralinians who lost their home forever because of some humans from Earth connected to that temple

@LindseyStirling Saralinians were a peaceful people and most creatures (excluding the Darkness and that and that other dark creature in the cave) were harmless and good and lived in harmony.
This creature had bonded with a little girl & learned to mimic HER voice when she passed

@LindseyStirling To get to Saraline (but hopefully stay away from that cave), people sailed into a particular place on Earth, going through a fog. The first sign they left Earth is The Midway Point here.

@LindseyStirling I'll let you look closely at this picture so you can get a look at the two fruits. Since Saralinians ate food trees gave to them, they lived a natural, long life.

@LindseyStirling After you go through The Midway Point, you'll find yourself having entered Saraline from the largest waterfall ever and coming from the Sea of Showers. When I was looking up the map of the moon, I saw that there were different names for different seas.

@LindseyStirling Imagine looking at an ordinary forest, you see all the trees. In the middle is this tree MUCH bigger than the others &you got Akios (Ah-kee-ohs), the Tree of Life who created Saralinians and all life there, including the Forest Army of Kings surrounding him here

@LindseyStirling This is my newest painting as of yesterday! And a fun one too! This is all for now but just imagine a nice afternoon to just go swimming &sliding down these hills into the water like u're at a water park!

@LindseyStirling I've imagined this book being like how I saw The Silmarillion by Tolkien,detailing the history of that world but I also see the book being written in the perspective of a few characters(like some1 who knows their history,an expert in plant life,1 4 animals, etc)

@LindseyStirling The whole book could be flat out the history of Saraline with pieces put together from the perspectives of these other characters I haven't made yet (with details of plants and animals, etc. put at the end of the book u can flip to 2 understand them more)

@LindseyStirling When I was in my first year of college in 2017, I was really feeling lonely, I didn't feel at home where I lived and I entertained myself with thoughts of another world when I looked up at the moon. I imagined a world where I belonged and that became Saraline.

@LindseyStirling I'm expecting my 10th one coming next to be magical and I can't wait to share more magic with you!

@LindseyStirling Saraline (Sar-a-leen) at twilight! Night time meant the northern lights, which happened often. And on the right, there‘s the treedome where weddings happened. Fireflies & abbahugs (fairies, as we call them) lit up the dome when wedding celebrations lasted all day

@LindseyStirling Inside the tree dome, there were decorations of flowers wrapped up with the tree roots that are meant to give the place a dome shape.

And abbahugs are meant to be everyone’s best friend&especially 1 would be sent to whoever was lonely so they have 1 real friend

@LindseyStirling I imagined a party going on in this area in my fictional planet (weddings and receptions both happenin under the treedome) and I always liked this one part from one of Owl City's songs which is in my insta story :)

@LindseyStirling I'm happy to share with you another painting from my story.
If you google the map of the Moon, there's a crater that stood out named Mare Crisium, Latin for the Sea of Crisis.
I had the idea that in the middle of this sea stood a forest down below a deep crater.

@LindseyStirling Waterfalls surround this forest. Despite it looking impossible to get out of, there is actually a secret tunnel that leads back up to the top.

Here in this part of the moon/Saraline is the Forest Army of Kings (branches crown shaped),Lonely Glaciers,Earth&Akios, the Tree of Life.Everything started with Akios when the planet formed.
(branches give it an angel look)

@LindseyStirling Also, I was so inspired by that singing ice video I tweeted you that in the middle of the glacier is an area of ice that seems to sing :D

@LindseyStirling These paintings are it for now! I have two other paintings in mind at this point but I want to do more brainstorming there and I also want to start doing the concept art of this dragon-like creature from the eighth painting :)

I always had this vision of a forest at night time, with willow trees, with the Northern Lights and shooting stars and the Earth and flower beds. Literally!Giant flowers u can sleep on!

You guys always end up seeing the sneak peeks of my paintings first so I wanted to share with you guys an entire finished painting this time :)
I imagine Darkside, Lost Girls or even Lunar Lullaby when I look at this picture! Darkside at the moment!
