The attacks happened after multiple protests against racism and attempts to integrate public places through lunch counter sit-ins. The sit-ins ceased after the attack, and continued a couple of months later. The attacks started a group of white men attacked the protesters (2)

and attacked them with ax handles, bats and other weapons. This attack escalated until there were crowds of white counterprotesters and police attacking any black person they saw on the streets. definitely dont have all the information, so I cant be your only source of info (3)

These historical events are rarely talked about and not taught in schools. This needs to change. There are so many events like this that happened that arent talked about. Now, trump is planning on holding his nomination acceptance speech in Jacksonville, just like in Tulsa (4)

trump planned those events to be held in obscured, historically significant cities on important dates in history and black history. This utter disrespect and blatant ignorance from the white house is sickening. You cant say you dont know bc everything is done with a purpose (5)

Anyways, I just think its.. interesting, to say the least, that two of trumps campaign events are being purposefully linked to cities with important history like that. yeah, yeah, Florida is an important state to trump and all that stupid bs, but why that day specifically? (6)
