Why bi/pan/nb/he.him/they.them/neopronouns lesbians exist, are valid, and belong in the lesbian community.

"Lesbian" has never meant exclusive attraction to women. That is not what Sappho meant when she created the word, nor has it ever been changed to that. Even dictionaries don't use the word like that. The only people who have ever tried to make that the definition (cont.)
was the political lesbianism movement during the second wave of feminism comprised entirely of A) straight white feminists who were also B) TERFs. They failed at co-opting the movement, but much of their racist, transphobic, ableist, exclusionary rhetoric lives on in (cont.)
modern leftism.
Additionally, words can change. This seems to be something BLERFs and PLERFs seem to recognize, but only in one direction. Lesbian has, for a long time, included nonbinary people as the objects of attraction for a lesbian, so what exactly is stopping (cont.)

nonbinary people from BEING lesbians as well? Not only that, but what's stopping bi or pan people from being lesbians? For one, the split attraction model exists which makes the validity of bi/pan lesbians so simple a toddler could understand, but lets ignore it for a bit (cont.)
So long as someone who's bi or pan is attracted to women (not exclusively) and is not a man, they can identify with the term lesbian. Labels are not political, but a matter of personal choice and what one feels most comfortable with. Words can change meanings, and the (cont.)
word "lesbian" certainly has.
He/Him and They/Them lesbians literally do not even contradict the definition B/PLERFs use. I do not know how many times this has to be said, but pronouns and gender are not the same thing. Pronouns do not even indicate gender. Its just what (cont.)

a person feels most comfortable being referred to as. A person could still even be a cis female and be a He/Him or They/Them lesbian.
Bi/pan/nb/he.him/they.them lesbians do not harm lesbians who are women exclusively attracted to women. (cont.)

The argument that b/p lesbians harm other lesbians is that it'll make straight men think "lesbians can be attracted to men!" and continue to harass them on those grounds. This argument is very victim blamey. Men have been fetishizing and harassing lesbians forever (cont.)
Bi/pan lesbians are also the targets of much of this harassment, if anything they're targets of more of it because of the fact they (in some cases) are attracted to men. Bi/pan lesbians not existing wouldn't stop this, or even make it less common. Blame men for this, not (cont.)
some of the victims of it.
Nonbinary lesbians dont harm other lesbians. I don't exactly know the argument behind this one, but Im gonna go out on a limb and assume its slippery slope, so take this point with a grain of salt. "If nb ppl can be lesbians, then how long is (cont.)

it until men can be lesbians?" Never. Men will never be lesbians. This is a necessary expansion of a label to attempt to dismantle the gender binary, which has existed even within the LGBT community for far too long. "Nonbinary" wasn't really much of a concept (cont.)
thousands of years ago, and THATS why it wasn't included in the original definition. The definition HAD to be updated, which is why we changed the definition.
As for why They/Them and He/Him and neopronouns lesbians don't harm other lesbians? Honestly I can't even (cont.)

think of an argument as to why they harm lesbians. They don't, end of story.
In conclusion, bi/pan/nb/he.him/they.them/neopronouns lesbians exist and do not defy the definition of "lesbian" or "lesbianism", nor do they do any harm to the lesbian community.
