Jenna Marbles really apologized with her whole heart and soul. I've always looked up to her as a creator and seeing her be so genuine just really made me respect her so much more. She took full responsibility for everything.
It's so interesting because over the years we've visually seen her growth. I got on this internet way too early and she's one of the few people that I was intrigued by. To this day I watch her videos and seeing her was part of the reason I started all this.
It's been so hard for me to try to see the other side because I have always been on the negative receiving end of that culture. Seeing someone like her really just gives me hope because she did change and used her platform to address and correct her mistakes and idk I admire that
it feels like she's not doing it just bc she got caught but because she genuinely regrets being a part of that and publicly addresses how it was wrong.
ALSO just so this is out there:
I am not the spokesperson for black people™ just because I personally accepted her apology does not mean every single black person does. Different people are effected by different content differently, not everyone has to accept her apology.
