In @yellowsprings, an existing senior buddy system, where seniors living alone would pair up to call each other daily, was repurposed post COVID. Now, residents make “reassurance calls” to those seniors to prevent social isolation. #SustainingCommunity https://bit.ly/2zccvnZ
Many have stepped-up throughout the pandemic, with neighbors looking after neighbors. Groups like Cultivate CDC and other #CommunityDevelopmentCorporations took the initiative and delivered care packages to neighbors to ensure they had essentials…
