#Jambukeswarar Temple complex has 5 enclosures with several gopuras (4 nos. from 25 -100 ft tall), massive hall with 796 pillars, spring fed water tank, many small shrines eventually leading to sanctum (4 ft high & 2.5 ft wide) housing #AppuLingam in last enclosure.

One can see water coming out thru underground stream all the time in sanctum sanctorum

Since Devi #Akhilandeswari worshipped lord #Shiva in this temple, even today at noon priests dress like females & perform puja to god #Jambukeswara (Shiva)
