Can we get a thread going of all the BS thats been pulled by UNC & UNC school systems since spring semester ended? Just wanna make sure to have this all somewhere bc once fall starts I already know so much more is gonna happen & I wanna have the past receipts
I’ll start:
- appointing Art Pope
- attempt to ban Rams Village students from buying meal plans
- that trustee calling students prisoners
- Emma Zamani
- no housing refunds if students get sent home
- BLM screens on athletic fields (including that bc that was just funny)
This can include wins too:

- the moratorium on renaming buildings was lifted

- Black UNC Twitter hounded CDS enough that they reversed the decision and Rams students can buy meal plans again

Chapel Hill transit understandably limiting passengers to 10 per bus but also causing SO many problems like how students get to class on time, how off campus students get to campus, how non-students get to work and home and the list goes on
