Everyone has been raving about “its okay to not be okay” specifically the cinematography & mental health issues and normally I don’t watch shows whose entire season isn’t on Netflix but I am TOO intrigued. I’ll try to live tweet my reactions! Here goes?! #ItsOkayNotTobeOkay
Epi 1 intro scene gave me CORPSE BRIDE VIBES!!! And a reference to American Beauty. I’m already in love. So obsessed with how it’s filmed!! Very different than anything I’ve seen before. Watch with headphones!!
The way I’m crying right now. This story is not going at all how I thought it would. So. GOOD. Totally unpredictable 😭😭😭
Episode 2 - the scene transitions are out of this world. There was funny reference to Godzilla/King Kong. I’m honestly a bit disturbed by the female lead... Serious mental health issues & anti-social behaviors I don’t know how she’s gonna get along with the empathy king Gangtae
Chile she is killing me with these terrible press on nails whewww. Did the entire budget go to the effects? #ItsOkaytoNotBeOkay
WHAT A HUGE TWIST AT THE END. I CAN’T. It’s about to get soooo toxic. I can’t wait to see what she does when she sees her dad — I’m screaming!!! The ending song was beautiful. Next ep is Saturday! https://open.spotify.com/track/5sVeJMHMfCWf2H6g66KQXz?si=rze-TTRTT9aCfGnFJm5vVQ #ItsOkaytoNotBeOkay
Mun-yeong’s little anecdotes/narrations are actually the creepiest part of the show. I’m scared of her. Let’s get her in therapy ASAP. 😖 #ItsOkaytoNotBeOkay
EPISODE 3 is called sleeping witch. I’m actually scared. He’s scared of her. She’s so scary and possessive. Also the mission of the hospital is #ItsOkayNotTobeOkay. Why do I find that hilarious?!
I didn’t want this thread to have any spoilers BUT I think her dad tried to kill her when she was younger. That’s the only thing that makes sense.
