I watched a slick salesman tell an HR executive of a multi-million dollar manufacturing company in Alabama today, “Look, the only thing that matters is perception right now, right?”

None of these people care about you.

I’ll delete this thread before I go to bed, I’m sure. I’ve seen a lot of things these past two months that I haven’t been out here tweeting on. I’m grateful I’ve learned a lot, too.

There are whole groups of people that are being paid right now to make other people look good.

I never want to be in the business of earning a commission off of selling people something that they don’t need. It is absolutely when it all goes south.

I’m not saying commission based sales isn’t a fine living. I’m saying that there is a fine line when it gets gross.
