The fact that there was a noose in the garage was REAL, not fake news. Full stop.

It's been there for months & it's a noose-like door pull. Is that what a regular door pull looks like? If so why wouldn't Bubba's team member & all involved parties at NASCAR recognize that? (1/)
Why are you mad at the "media" when NASCAR itself announced the incident via a statement & NASCAR itself demanded a hate crime investigation?

If a sports league reports a federal investigation into what THEY believe is a hate crime, shouldn't media report that? (2/)
Are you mad at NASCAR for wanting to ensure that a hate crime hadn't occurred? If so, why?

Are you mad at Bubba, who didn't even find the noose & was told about it by NASCAR before NASCAR made a statement that it might be a hate crime? If so, why? What did he do, exactly? (3/)
Are you as mad at the person who hired the plane to tow the confederate flag? And the people who lined up outside Talladega with flags? And the person who hung the twine noose in Sonoma? And Dustin Skinner for saying he'd like to see Bubba dragged by a rope? If not, why not? (3/)
Are there any official photos of the noose in question provided by NASCAR, Bubba's team or the FBI? Why are we assuming the circulating pic of the door pull outside garage 4 is THE noose? And if it is and it's a standard garage feature, again... why wouldn't that be obvious? (4/)
And if it wasn't obvious b/c most door pulls aren't noose-like, then is there a reason to question why that one was? Or why it's normal to have a noose door pull in your garage? And if maybe no one ever noticed it as problematic before b/c the room is usually all white guys? (5/)
Do you believe that equality is good and competitors and fans of all colors and backgrounds should be able to enjoy NASCAR and feel safe at the track? If so, why are you mad about an investigation to ensure that's the case? (6/)
If you're anything but relieved right now, you're showing your ass.

If you're sending Bubba evil messages right now, you're doing nothing more than proving that there's good reason to question the finding of a noose of any kind in a NASCAR garage. (7/)
If you actually love the SPORT of NASCAR & not the confederate flag, or the feeling of being exclusionary, or any social or political ideals that you feel are connected to the sport, then you're happy to see it cleaned up & happy you'll be able to defend it. If not... shoe fits.
