I force myself to listen to Democracy Now on a regularly basis, where they invite a lot of woke scholars and activists. I do it because I want to make sure I'm not missing anything important and, occasionally, I even learn something interesting.

But mostly I'm just appalled by how incredibly *dumb* those people are. It boggles the mind how stupid they are. They have absolutely nothing interesting to contribute. They're just idiots who are given a platform and everybody listens to them and pretend they are not idiots.

I also saw that in academia. There are many people in woke studies who just produce worthless garbage and everybody intelligent knows that's what it is. They'll admit it in private, but they'll never say it publicly, because criticizing that stuff has low status association.

They think they are just being collegial, but that's just a story they tell themselves to sleep better at night, but they're just afraid to speak up. It's a huge moral failure that academics not only tolerate but even encourage this garbage even though they know it's garbage.

I'm not saying *every* scholar that works on race, gender, etc. is producing garbage. There are many people working on those issues who do great work, even if I don't necessarily agree with them. I'm just saying a *lot* of that stuff is worthless and we should call it out.

Anyway, it's bad enough that fanatics can ruin the career of good people because they didn't buy into their nonsense, but the fact that they're so *stupid* really makes that insufferable. Sure, Lenin and his friends were psychopaths, but at least they were not retarded.
