Some random person invited me to do a Q and A recently to a group of Brits and one seemed to be a cis het white guy who asked questions that seemed belittling and racist. I am beginning to ask organizations and people who invite me to do Q and A& #39;s how their moderation will...
operate because I& #39;ve just had it with ignorant questions after showing my art. I think it& #39;s worth considering for festivals and galleries to seriously look at how they manage their audiences with BIPOC/LGBTQ artists in a way that does not degrade
the people they are supposed to be uplifting. How do you moderate your Q and A& #39;s? Have you thought about opting out of audience questions or asking for questions to be sent in in advance? It& #39;s really tiresome to answer ignorant surface level questions
and I am thinking of also telling people I won& #39;t answer their question more often.
