so lance being asleep and Keith coming home late after a mission and they’ve just been... so distant lately and Keith hates it, he feels as if they’re falling apart but he doesn’t know how to fix it

so when he gets to their bedroom and sees lance sleeping, he takes off his pants and his shirt and walks over to his husband. he lies next to him and god, he’s so beautiful.
Keith starts drawing his features with his hands, making sweet touches on Lance’s face.

he starts squirming and moves closer to Keith, and he just runs his hand through the man’s back and presses him closer, against his chest and holding his head so dearly and carefully. he then gets closer and starts whispering things he always wanted to say,

“I love how Kosmo loves you so much.”
“your smile could brighten my whole week, even if it’s through a video call”
“I love how you love the ocean and how you feel at home every time we go, it’s something amazing to watch.”
“I love how great your aim is, -

it makes me feel so proud everytime.”
“It makes me so proud to call you my husband, I’m the luckiest man in the universe.”

“I wish i had told you that I loved you sooner.”
He then hears sniffling, and a drop falling to his chest.
Keith closes his eyes and-

brings the man closer to him.
“you are the love of my life, everything I am, ever was or ever will be, it’s yours, forever.” He says on a soft whisper, turning around completely and holding his husband as tight as he can.

he starts falling asleep to a kiss on his chest and a faint whisper that says “I will love you till the day I die.” Lance then runs his hands through Keith’s chest and surrounds his neck with his arms.
“and even then I don’t think I could stop loving you.”
