1. 2. The pub date for Mary Trump's book is 7/28. That means her book has already been sent to the printer and been printed. The biggest booksellers like Wal-Mart & Costco, etc require books to be delivered to them nearly a month in advance of pub date..so they'll have the book soon

3. The horse has left the barn...even if a Federal judge grants the request for a TRO (which many lawyers I've spoken to doubt will happen), the book is going to leak. Which is why Simon & Schuster waited until last week to confirm the news they had this book.

4. Had @simonschuster announced this book months ago or when they acquired it, it would have given the Trump family the ability to potentially stop the book (again, most lawyers say they don't see a judge granting the request for a TRO).

5. Bottom line: even if a Federal Judge grants the request for a TRO...the book is going to get out. It's too late for the Trump family to be effective here when it comes to stopping Mary Trump's book.
