Filling in physical space, creating plots and maps, and large bold type in infographics for example. Those elements can deliver the broad things you need to know first, and then detailed notes elaborate and provide context.
Or like, "hub and spoke" style presentations with a bold big central item that then has dependent items radiating outwards
BI report development is pretty neat even if it's mostly used for corporate evil, and there are a lot of tools out there that have examples of various reports they can make!!
