The very name Black Lives Matter is intended to be divisive. It otherizes blacks into a special category. It sounds as if it’s meant to be exclusionary. The response of course is that it really means black lives matter too.
One, why not make that the name? Two, once you assent to that meaning, you’ve also assented to the premise that black lives don’t matter to Americans. I find that deeply offensive and wrong. The money spent on anti-poverty and welfare is indicative of a great concern.
The very high cost policing that is despised, saved many black lives in Giuliani’s NYC. Can anyone really believe that defunding the police will lead to less senseless death?
Simply put, the Marxist BLM is no morally different than the KKK, and Christians make a mistake using their Marxist categories and language and lending them credence.)
Well meaning Christians afraid to look racist and who genuinely care are being co-opted in a dangerous way by succumbing to current moral panic, the Marxist gestalt, and our surrounding weltanschauung. (I use the German political terms to be especially obnoxious)
