Hunger can really make people go beyond moral righteousness. So there was this lady who prayed for the death of her little children. That is one extreme thing how poverty and hunger can compel individuals to make unthinkable choices. 2/5

She prayed so because that was the only way she thought someone would help her.
Someone would offer her food and other financial assistance. 3/5

The second story is about a young boy who was carrying his shoes in his hands. Upon asking, he told me that he was protecting his shoes this way for upcoming eid. 4/5

We really need to rethink our perspective on poverty and miseries of people. We need to help people in any possible way, be it very small. Every small step matter in fight against poverty. We will always find people around who need help. 5/5
