Q4: How can I apply or P-EBT?

Q5: How many TN kids are eligible for P-EBT?
A5: @TNHumanServices & @TNedu say 330,000 kids who already participate in SNAP will automatically get it.
But there are 388,000 eligible kids who don’t participate in SNAP who will need to apply

Q6: How long do these families have to apply?
A6: Even though nearly 400,000 students' families will need to apply for P-EBT benefits TN app is only open for 2 weeks - from June 15 to June 29. The shortest in the country!

We have to make sure that P-EBT is talked about and reaches every child! This task force must address child hunger is increasing in TN due to COVID19. A8: No, only English. This presents a barrier to our immigrant families whose kids are eligible for PEBT & need it - especially since our Latinx TNeans are hit hardest by COVID19.

A9: Tennessee estimated that it will bring in $82.8 mil for kids on SNAP and $97.3 mil for kids not on SNAP. That's over $180mil in federal funding to boost the TN economy.
