Q6: How long do these families have to apply?
A6: Even though nearly 400,000 students' families will need to apply for P-EBT benefits TN app is only open for 2 weeks - from June 15 to June 29. The shortest in the country!

Many states have extended deadlines - TN can too!
Many states have extended Pandemic EBT deadlines.
Missouri just extended because they’ve only reached 65% of elegible kids. How many eligible kids has TN reached @TNHumanServices @TNedu?

We have to make sure that P-EBT is talked about and reaches every child! This task force must address child hunger is increasing in TN due to COVID19. Extend the PEBT deadline to ensure every child has access to food in this time. @SchwinnTeach @SenAkbari #feedTN https://twitter.com/tnedu/status/1273718764094271489
Q8: Is the app available in multiple languages?
A8: No, only English. This presents a barrier to our immigrant families whose kids are eligible for PEBT & need it - especially since our Latinx TNeans are hit hardest by COVID19.
