I decided to take the week off of work because apparently someone tested positive for Covid but HR and the owners are keeping quiet, most likely because they don’t want to get closed down

No meeting was held nor was there an announcement made
The only ones that they had a meeting with was the shipping department (I work in the receiving dept.) and the only reason they told them is because it was someone from their department that has it

The only reason I even found any of this out was because my coworker was talking with someone from shipping and they mentioned it to him (this happened about an hour or so after we got to work)

My coworker then comes to tell me that they just had a meeting with shipping and that they’re gunna have meetings with the other departments as well, or atleast we THOUGHT

Day goes by and NOTHING not a peep out of any of the Management/HR/Owners
No announcement was made, nothing

And I’m not 100% on this but I was told from someone that works close to the owners that they are trying to keep quiet about the situation

After I heard that it fucken got me heated!

It’s fucked up how willing these greedy bastards are to put their employees and employees families at risk simply because they don’t want to get shut down and lose some money
They’d rather put us at risk because in their eyes we’re expendable and we could be replaced easily

I’ll keep this thread updated as i get more info on the situation
