Never liked the term, but that's what it was called

Here are the 3 things

1⃣ Matching - Use Words They Use

Simple to understand

Use language that they're using

If they're saying

"sick bro!", "we got this fam!", "i gotchu!"

Reply with words that have "bro", "fam", "gotchu"

If they're saying

"that's great", "we can do it!", "i support you!"
Reply with sentences like

"i thought it was great too", "I know we can do it", "You have my support too"

Realize everyone comes with different backgrounds

Even different generations

👉Using the same language helps minimize those gaps and brings you closer together
2⃣ Mirroring - Mirror their beliefs, life, and struggles

This is a little more tricky

❌Not everyone has the same beliefs

❌Not everyone has the same struggles

❌And no one has the same life

So how do you mirror?
Although you can't mirror their EXACT life

You can mirror what they say to PARTS of your life

If they say

"I've had a rough month", or "I was laid off"

👉Explain how you had a rough month or a time when you were laid off

If you didn't have a rough month or weren't laid off
Mention how you know of someone that has and how that's affected you

‼️ Make them feel they're not alone

Understand, you're NOT lying here!

You're following their meta idea to something that happened to you or you experienced
Knowing that someone else is going through what they're going through creates a stronger bond

‼️ It makes them feel like you understand the situation
3⃣ Pacing - Base Your Replies to Their Replies

This doesn't mean

If they say "OK" you reply "OK"

❌That's not a conversation

What i mean is

If they're writing in short paragraphs

✅Reply back with short paragraphs

Not one-liners but break you paragraphs into shorter pieces
They might not like big blocks of text

But easily scannable material

In the same token

If they're writing long paragraphs

Reply back with long paragraphs

They're giving you effort to write a long paragraph

✅Give them the same courtesy by providing a long answer
This kind of pacing happens in their subconscious

If they look back at the conversation

They'll see it was a back-and-forth dialogue instead of someone just spamming their DMs

👉The effort you show is similar to their effort
💸So how does this apply to getting MORE SALES?

"People buy from people they trust"
