Like let’s be honest it’s not like I don’t understand ignorance. Highkey I used to be super ignorant about the LGBTQ+ despite being part of the LGBTQ. But it’s one thing to be ignorant and educate yourself and it’s another thing to use slurs then pretend not to know they’re bad.
Also highkey I think a lot of my ignorance was forced in an attempt to deny my own identity because it’s super easy in comparison to just be a straight cis woman. But I educated myself and in turn accepted myself and continue to advocate for equal rights for everyone.
I’ve deleted my identity twice while writing this thread. Evidently I still have work to do on myself. I’m pansexual, I’m genderqueer. I don’t know exactly how I feel other than not feeling 100% male or female.
The things I was specifically ignorant to were asexual, non-binary/gender fluid/anything other than the literal “LGBT”, and otherkin which I still don’t understand but have settle on not needing to understand your identity in order to accept and respect how you feel.
