This you? @Iriiisss___ ?

Dear Iris, you mentioned you gave a great deal to think about what you said but dont think you spent nearly enough time understanding what exactly is at stake here so allow me to help enlighten you a little, im not paid by anyone to express my opinion... https://twitter.com/Iriiisss___/status/1269135734235189253
@Iriiisss___ you mentioned about how we must put our local politicians to task and all but have you ever had a discussion with any politician and have you seen any tangible change? For instance, Nkandu Luo came out with a statement talking about how youths need to be...
... more self sufficient if im correct but did you know who she needed to win the Munali seat? Youths.

I’ll give you another example, you remember this woman right? @Iriiisss___ she was/is in PF and had scheduled a meeting with a higher official in her party...
... in her own party, and what happened? She was stripped by an overpompous politician with the reasoning of a rock.

@Iriiisss___ we live in a country where a PEACEFUL protest was APPROVED by the necessary channels and what was the governments response? violence.
@Iriiisss___ don’t feel the need to comment if you feel it’ll jeopardize your bag, join @slapdee who was honest enough to tell us he isn’t with us cos these double standards you are exhibiting are bad for your image, ultimately please spend more time observing more honestly
We have some of the highest corruption rates in the world and recently had social cash funds cancelled by DFID because of accountability issues, this was helping vulnerable people that the govt cannot help @Iriiisss___
so whichever side you’re choosing to be on is your choice but please don’t expect people to understand and be compassionate when they are suffering from the consequences of voting in this regime @Iriiisss___
also expecting people to enter these political spaces to bring the change they want to see is only partly the solution and is extremely difficult to navigate @Iriiisss___ let me tell you a story of Given Katuta the current Chiengi MP...
Given Katuta just like your advice decided to join the political sphere in hopes of bringing change to the land where she is from, she expressed her interest to run in Chiengi where she spoke to the prominent political parties about adoption, after expressing her interest...
... she came to Lusaka to finalize her adoption papers and start off so she can start mobilization of her campaign, before she started off something or someone told her to check her tyre and you know what? Her bolts were loose... now Chiengi is a 12-15 hour drive.
Imagine if she didn’t check her wheel what wud have happened? @Iriiisss___ u make joining the political sphere or even approaching these politicians sound like taking back a bad product you just bought, ultimately let the youths speak cos trust me they’ve been engaging these ppl
