For so many, orthodoxy = a largely white (even if they don’t realize it), Religious Right, Republican version of Christianity
So heresy is functionally defined politically rather than biblically.

And my concern is not just that they’re wrong. It’s that that ignorance gets weaponized against people who disagree, especially in multiracial evangelical churches.
