Why have I been raising alarms about this? Because @CAN_Femicide can no longer have truthful statistics on crimes against women.

When I contacted @StatCan_eng they replied via email that they were indeed recording criminals but gender instead of sex.
At the end it stated that they had performed the necessary statistical tests to evaluate the impact of this change.

I did my research, and found out that every piece of legislation MUST have a gender based analysis (GBA) report done before a Bill can reach Royal Assent.

In easy terms, Gender identity and gender expression is covered under prohibited grounds against discrimination.
While I agree that no one should be discriminated against, this change allows MEN to simply declare they are women and have access to our safe spaces, sports, prisons

These MEN do not have to undergo any medical or physical changes in order to have free access to the most vulnerable group - women.

I spent over three days emailing every MP individually in Canada (roughly 330), asking for them to authorize my e-petition. This included @JustinTrudeau (I am a thorn in his side at this point)

Monday morning came, and by 9:45am I had already received 3 emails from MP’s denying authorization. More came in from ALL parties. All MP’s were freaking out and gave excuses after excuses. My own MP refused as it was political suicide to touch Bill C-16! ...
What the hell was happening? Did no one care about women’s rights? We’ve been climbing this mountain to gain more equality and now we have fallen off because men are stripping our rights away, all in order not to hurt feelings. I was disgusted with our government...
With the help of a fierce woman, she got the attention from @DerekSloanCPC to contact me about my e-petition for the GBA report on Bill C-16. I thank her to this day.

I had great help from the President of @PdfQuebec as well. They had requested the gender based analysis (GBA) report be conducted within FIRST reading of Bill C-16. They continued to press forward and yet, Bill c-16 passed Royal Assent in June 2017 without a GBA report...
Mr. @JustinTrudeau PROMISED transparency within his government. He PROMISED that not one piece of legislation would pass without a gender based analysis (GBA) report being completed and reviewed.

Is it because the gender based analysis (GBA) report was not done - in order to speed the pathway to this dangerous Bill - or because it’s so poorly done, that producing it would cause a huge outcry of injustice? What is @JustinTrudeau hiding?
What groups (if any) were included in this analysis for Bill c-16? I have contacted various Canadian women agencies and they have not been able to say they were consulted.

I am still being denied. I have filed a further complaint with the the office of the information commissioner in regards to (one example) the Justice Department staying it would take over 800 days to give me any details regarding GBA on Bill C-16...
I have done threads before, detailing every single ATIP, correspondence from government (provided screen grabs of each) but I don’t have the stamina to once again show hundred freaking conversations.

I don’t believe in conversion therapy for sexual orientation but this Bill is nefarious as it stops proper channels to help with gender identity.
It’s homophobic in nature because some parents want to avoid facing their child may be gay and force them to “change sex”.
