Okay, I am putting this up because I am sick of COVID-19 panic porn that leaves the impression we have no answers.

This is simply not the case. At the end of of it I hope you ask yourself why most people don’t know this. /1
If someone I love is diagnosed with COVID-19 I am pushing the following steps in order:
1. Hydroxy, Zinc & AZT for 5 days.
2. Home pulse oximeter. You can buy one in any drug store.
3. If the reading is consistently below 93% we are going to the ER
4. Demand an evaluation /2
for a cytokine storm. These are labs that measure inflammation in multiple body systems.
5. If these labs indicate an overwhelming immune response, I want the Dr. to get in touch with someone on the team of Dr. Yadegar at Providence Cedars-Sinai for input. /3
A common theme in these & others I have written are as follows:
1. Global health experts knew about cytokine storms & SARS in 2003. Why was it not immediately raised as a possibilty in this pandemic? COVID-19 & SARS have a high degree of overlap. Our own NIH did studies. /7
2. Why was hydroxy et al allowed to be politicized? The science, some from our own NIH all supported it’s use. The Dr’s that initially tried it weren’t guessing.
3. When Dr’s were saying give hydroxy et al early & outpatient, why did our agencies give it to the sickest /8
patients & publicize the results?
4. Why wasn’t the work of Dr. Yadegar and others celebrated & widely publicized? Cytokine Storms are not new. Treatments are available negating the need for clinical trials.
5. The UK researchers estimate that if dexamethasone had been /9
given earlier in the pandemic 5,000 lives could have been saved.
6. Dr. Yadegar’s team was PREVENTING the need for mechanical ventialtion through proactive screening & treatment.
7. What could that have meant in New York City in April? What could it mean for Texas now? /10
Yes I trust science. And I trust clinicians treating patients who get results far more than health agency bureaucrats.

I am disgusted by our public health agencies, the global public health network, and the media. And I want answers. /11
Why is the knowledge management system in the NIH so broken, that it seems they forgot everything they knew about SARS?

Why were they pushing remdisivr inpatient, when there was an outpatient option available with a scientific basis for efficacy?

I put this out for your /12
information. I am telling you here what I would do after months of research & reading. Do your own homework & make a plan.

The pandemic is not over. But I refuse to face that reality without hope & information.

God bless & be prepared. /end
