Listen up Arsenal twitter. We need to bring Olivier Giroud back to our great club. This thread will explain why. It’s imperative we secure his signature as he still has lot’s to offfer. Please rt and like as much as possible we need to get the fans behind bringing Giroud home!

First let’s start off with our strikers. Lacazette is finished obviously (away goals), Aubameyang wants to leave (no new contract), Nketiah isn’t good enough (academy player), and Martinelli is more suited as a winger (Ronaldo 2.0). We must sell all but Martinelli.

Now onto their replacement. We sell 3 strikers and one man can replace them all. Giroud. Giroud is still firing on all cylinders and we never should have let him go. Here’s why...

1) He got the start over big Tammy. Lampard clearly rates Giroud over Big Tammy (his decision could be because Tammy is a known Arsenal fan tho).This really shows the sheer amount of quality Giroud has since Chelsea are in top 4. Giroud is starting for a CL team. He’s incredible!

2) Giroud starts for the France National Team. You want to know who doesn’t start for the France team? Aubameyang and Lacazette our 2 French strikers! France are World Cup champions. Frankly, because of Girouds exceptional performance in the tournament.

3) Giroud is in exceptional shape. Giroud clearly has 5-7 years left in him as evident in his form recently. Chelsea don’t seem to understand this as they haven’t offered him a 2+ year contract. Arsenal should pounce on this and give Giroud a 5 year contract (lure him back).

4) Giroud is still improving. Ik this is a little bit of a stretch. But ARGUABLY, Giroud has yet to even enter his prime. I believe, as evident in his stats, that Giroud has yet to have his best season. This is why Arsenal need to sign him back. He will perform his best for them.

5) Once we sell our 3 finished strikers we will need Giroud. He will provide balance as a modern day center forward. We will have 2 wingers on either side of him giving us balance. Arsenal’s biggest mistake was playing Aubameyang as a winger as it didn’t give us balance.

6) Giroud is affordable (10 million). Arsenal don’t have a lot of money (only 20 million usually every summer according to reliable publications like The Sun). So with the close to 100 million we will get from selling our strikers we should have enough and even extra cash!

7) Giroud is an Arsenal legend. He is the reason I fell in love with this club. He has won many trophies for this team and even scored some of our best goals since we moved to the Emirates. He’s Arsenal through and through and he would never betray us. We need him back home.

Despite only having 3 followers, I’m hoping this thread reaches our fan base as I think it can really unite us under one cause. Bring Giroud home. He is the future of Arsenal and will bring us back to our glory days. Thank you for reading. #Giroud2020
