Companies should be asking themselves ‘what obstacles are we giving candidates and are they at all necessary’.
For example ‘quick apply on LI’ sure, it sounds good in theory until your recruiters are faced with thousands of resumes they have to sift through.

You know how that ends? They hire a referral so they don’t have to screen 10000 ppl.
As for a cover letter, you’re often blocking ppl who are literally qualified and don’t want to write you an essay on ‘why they chose you’.
A few multiple choice questions when someone applies (are you US based, is the salary range posted something you would consider, do you have experience leading a team of 5) I can be into.

Make them super easy but relevant.
