I am pretty amazed that Alberta parents of k - 6 are willing to let Jason Kenney sort their kids according to what profession he thinks they should be stuck with for their entire lives. Not the sort of FREEDOM many of them were screeching for last year. #ableg

Here's the thing abt vocational school for elementary kids. Won't be terribly flexible. If your community's school is designated for basic laborers that's what your kids are stuck with. That's the choice. Only the well off will be able to put their kids on academic tracks. #ableg

I may be wrong, but didn't the old Soviet Union sort kids for careers/jobs when they were toddlers too? It's a curious educational stance for the UCP to take. #ableg
