NEVER FORGET!

As you watch chaos (statutes torn down, buildings burn etc.) and watch Christians & churches get caught up in the black lives matter movement, don’t forget the role many evangelicals played in this that helped create the environment, whether they knew it or not...
Never forget @ERLC’s MLK50 where the metaphorical shot was heard around the evangelical world that the revolution’s begun.

@pastoremase spoke of blacks who are “black on the ouside but anglo on the inside”

@MattChandler74 talked of hiring “black sevens” but not “black sixes.”
Never forget that at @ERLC’s MLK50 publicly praised the criminal Michael Brown and condemned the voice of @VoddieBaucham because he refused to join the false narrative.

Never forget even in the SBC the only black voices that matter are those who join the social justice refrain.
Never forget the leaders of the SBC took a resolution that originally fully condemned critical race theory, rewrote Resolution 9, and labeled the Marxist theory as a “useful tool.”

Never forget that this “useful tool” was already being employed in various seminaries.
Never forget that @SEBTS was flirting with James Cone and aspects of Black Liberation Theology in some very dangerous ways.

Never forget that professors at @SEBTS came out and said the rioters were “wrong, unwise, and sinful,” but we need to FIRST seek to “understand” them.
Never forget @NAMB said that sometimes rioting is an effective way to get people’s attention because their voice isn’t being heard.

Never forget as monuments topple, President @jdgreear declared that the Broadus gavel must go as if that somehow represents support of slavery.
Never forget some SBC leaders downplayed the danger of the Black Lives Matter organization.

As the revolution sweeps across America, never forget many SBC leaders either joined the revolution or helped lay the groundwork for it whether they realized it or not.

NEVER FORGET!
Oh yeah never forget that our churches funded it all!
