The suited man is Dr. Balvir Singh Tomar, Chairman of National Institute of Medical Sciences,Jaipur where #Patanjali conducted 'clinical control study'. He was arrested in 2016 for attempt to rape his student. His son Dr.Anurag Tomar, a trustee, was accused of raping an employee.
As recently as Oct 2019, Rajasthan police issued a lookout notice for Balvir Singh Tomar and ordered to confiscate his passport in another rape case of 2018 on a complaint by an employee. This was a case of gang rape.
National Institute of Medical Sciences, Jaipur where #Patanjali conducted trials for its Corona medicine with 69 patients, has been asked by Medical Council of India to stop admissions for 6 PG courses and debarred it for 3 years from even reapplying to start these courses.
