Reading about all the women who have been harassed, abused, or worse in the gaming/streaming industry, etc. today has made me sick to my stomach. This has to stop, plain and simple. Abusers must be held responsible for their actions. (Thread)

To some of the men trying to claim they are innocent or downplay abuse, your actions speak for you. The idea that making anyone feel uncomfortable, afraid for their safety, etc. is just you trying to "flirt", or "show how cool you are." says so much about YOU.

I can only speak from my heart here, and as a survivor of sexual assault and abuse, that type of behavior is unacceptable. Reading these stories has made my skin crawl, it's taken me back to moments in my life where I experienced unspeakable things...

In fact, I didn't tell anyone what happened to me for over 10 years. Believe me, I tried many times. These experiences never just go away, they hurt deep to the core.

This thread is not about me. It's about all the brave women who shared these stories, who continue to share. I realize I don't know any of you personally, that's okay. I just want to say, I'm so sorry this happened to you. Tears begin to flow as I read more of the tweets, etc.

I realize these tweets likely mean little in the long run, I just felt the need to speak up and show my support in anyway possible.
