You guys should (if you're not already) watch Robert Walsh's YT Channel.

He's an MUA and Skin nton nton who banishes beauty hacks and offers realistic advice.

He's a less is more guy and I appreciate his opinion cause we're all killing ourselves trying to do Instagram make up
And the points that he makes is that the drama of pouring foundation for instance all over your face is nice as click bait but highly impractical for everyday use - nobody needs that much make up.

And that everybody is contouring the same but we all have different face shapes
Another point he makes is people showing you how to achieve flawless make up under studio lighting which will ALWAYS look good on camera but wouldn't necessarily translate in person.

So he dislikes the dishonesty because even he uses a different shade for everyday VS shooting
Anyways go watch

Its really good, informative, practical stuff that I feel is what we every day people need, to achieve simple looks because not everybody is a insta baddie you know? Your pictures aren't overly edited, you're using natural lighting and minimal products etc.
One more:

There's a market for uncomplicated tutorials using as cheap (affordable) products as possible.

Or achieving a high end look with fewer affordable products.

There seems to be a shift from heavily contoured foreheads and over lined lips to minimal practical glam looks
I also think,

The people watching YT channels don't have a million products and a million brushes and and and.

There's a market for the girl with 5 brushes and a pencil from Essence ka foundation ya Maybelline le mascara ya yardley.
