This is just a work of fiction. Any resemblance to living or dead is purely coincidental.

This is a true story of a delhi based old political leader, who fulfilled many of his wishes, had just one last wish left - to become CM of that particular state.
He thought that it was his right, because he helped one of his old friends to become CM of that state when he was all powerful in Delhi and calling shots. Now it was his turn to tick the box in his diary of wishes.

This friend also encouraged him to make the claim.
He did. And as luck would have it, he became the CM. He knew it very well that he got this position because of the sinister designs of his old friend, who convinced the central leadership to not to give in to the demands of a young leader, who was projected as a CM candidate.
That was the first time when the author of this thread heard a sinister laugh in his mind from that evil old friend... (let your imagination run wild and think of the most sinister laughter you have ever heard or seen)

okay, let's move on…
The old politician from Delhi was living his dream. He had everything he asked for. Position of CM. Son as MP. Counsel of an old friend, who has done double PhD in corruption. Company of bollywood stars. He started behaving as if state's coffers were his own private property.
Everything was happening as per his wishes. he thought he got Aladdin’s magical lamp with Djinn in it. Little did he know that the Djinn was not inside the lamp, but outside in the disguise of his old evil friend.
This is when the author of this thread heard a second sinister laugh in his mind from that evil old friend…
This Djinn had his own plans. He wanted a kingdom without the troubles of being on the throne. He wanted a puppet, and he got one. He made the moves in the darkness and it reflected on this old CM as a guiding light.
The old CM did not know what was happening around him. He was busy eating fruits of power. Transfers. Corruption. Money. Parties. Celebrities. Praises from journalists and Darbaris, everything he ever asked for. As the author said - he was living his dream.
Now, there's a twist in a tale.

The money he was making was much more than high-command ever imagined. He was becoming all powerful under the guidance of Djinn. He started financing other state's election. Funds he was giving were much more than eve his bosses ever dreamt of.
He was basking in a glory. His arrogance was given a daily dose of confirmation by the Djinn. Djinn wanted everything. He wanted his son to become the next king. He wanted him to remain all powerful. He played his moves and how!!
The old politician from Delhi didn’t know what hit him! The Djinn pulled a carpet from right under his feet. The old politicians ran to his masters in Delhi. Little did he know that they were also under the spell of Djinn.

They became blind and deaf.
They fell right into the web of deception created by Djinn. They did not support the old politician. They gave him an impression that the Djinn would take care of everything. After all, he's all powerful and the old man got everything just because of him.
Djinn also told them about the money, the honey, and the cronies. The high-command did not like what they heard. They consulted another old politician from western state. He corroborated what the Djinn said, after all he didn't want this old politician to threaten his position.
One late evening, after losing the CM's position, losing everything that the old politician has built - he told his confidants with a single malt in his left hand - he trusted Djinn. He trusted Djinn… He trusted Djinn!
That's when the author of this thread heard third sinister laugh from an evil old friend…
The Djinn has everything now. He paved the way for his son to become undisputed future king inside the party in the state. He secured a nice cosy seat in RS for himself. Mrs. Djinn is building her media empire.
Last we heard is that Djinn is created another web....

And our old political leader is dreaming again…

Astu! The end.
