Last Friday I had a fantastic zoom meeting with @sueores @TrustTheDocUK and @petecogle from Grassroots Music Network - @NetworkGMN - about collaborating to support and lift up independent musicians everywhere. More info about how you can get involved in thread...

This is all brand new but there's loads of great information on here and much more coming soon.

You can also sign up for free to become a member which gives you greater ability to contribute.

The aim of @NetworkGMN aligns very well with @RiffTaffMusic that I am closely linked too. Both aim to bring together a wide range of people with an interest in independent music - artists, labels, promoters, publishers, bloggers, radio, podcast and media folk, and so on.

We also plan to collaborate on the Indie Radio List I mentioned a few weeks ago - more info on the blog at http://www.indieradiolist.com  - and I'm sure there will be lots of other great projects we can work together on in the future.

The thing that we have learned over the years at @RiffTaffMusic and also with the @LightsAndLines collective is that things like @NetworkGMN work best when lots of people jump on board and start sharing their own knowledge and experience. So get involved!
