Sources have confirmed that the Scrap Yard players have cleared out the locker room.

The remaining games this week will be cancelled.

Owner/GM Connie May tried to address the team postgame and the players walked out. They will also not return any of their gear that has their names on it as they don’t want to be affiliated with tonight’s actions.

For the record, Scrap Yard is not part of @profastpitch. SY left the NPF 3 years ago.

SY players are holding a team meeting this afternoon to discuss how to move forward.

I don’t envy them at all. Their GM is also employed by USSSA so the front offices are connected.

According to USSSA baseball, May is the Houston-area administrator.
