So every week, I& #39;ve been giving myself a future to imagine, to build a story around, with as much detail as I can create, to help take the edge off these traumatic moments we& #39;re collectively sharing.
A couple of weeks ago, I was imagining what the future of healthcare will look and feel like when Black men and women and queer Black people are cared for with deep love on dignity.
And I started dreaming up what a health care center designed with and around the Black aesthetic for express purpose of Black healing would look like.
Anyway. A future for you to imagine.
This week, I& #39;m imagining (again) what a Black tech company would look like. How it would be structured to be collectively owned. How Bossipy our git commits and embedded error messages would be.
Don& #39;t let these systems of oppression steal your imagination. If you can dream it, it is already real, so dream big.
Hold on to those imagined things. I& #39;mma ask for them in a few months.
