This was amazing. Make time to watch this!

Jon was a fantastic host who asked pointed, meaningful questions. I'm looking forward to the next one.

I have a few things to say about each speaker because I was so inspired. (Not enough room. Damn Twitter limiting my love!) https://twitter.com/JonAaronSandler/status/1274993731733766145
@Allysayshello1 Love your metaphor of the wilted flower and the rain, and that a real life flower in the rain inspired this, which requires a high level of thoughtfulness. Equally powerful was your story of self-harm and suicide due to unreleased grief and emotions.
@laurelbrett11 I was moved by your deeper meanings in your story, that of a 16 yr old girl igniting imagination and change in a 37 yr old man. Young people and particularly girls are so often dismissed as having nothing important to say. So looking forward to reading your book!
@bryanna_gary You captured anxiety so well. We're often unseen. NPC energy, conspiracy theories about ourselves. Your essay about allies, being better listeners, applies to all aspects of life. Using language so that we all understand something not well understood, such genius.
@dana_lyr Though I'm not a poet, I enjoy well written, meaningful poetry. And your spoken poetry is just 😍. Really dig the rhythm. You're so talented and, someday, I'd love to see you act or perform spoken word on stage.
@jonaaronsandler Your stories are beautiful, inspiring, and thoughtful. You need great talent to be able to bring out the deeper layers of seemingly mundane life that most of us don't think about, turning them into thoughtful pieces to mull over.
Thank you all for sharing pieces of you with the rest of us. Thank you, Jon, for doing this, for giving these lovely people a platform to share themselves. Also, Allison's pierogies looked delicious and she definitely deserved that win!
