In addition, the statement was made during an actual official meeting. This was recorded in the town minutes. This is unacceptable. It wouldn’t fly as a prime minister, premier or for any other leader - it shouldn’t be overlooked for small towns.

This is problematic behaviour that perpetuates the ongoing ignorance that affects and discriminated marginalized communities and should not be tolerated for big or SMALL townships.
