-Out of 437 applicants, the other three chosen for the cast of the TV show were Michael Nesmith, Peter Tork and Micky Dolenz. And so The Monkees was formed!

- Was released while the band was on tour in Ohio.
- The band hated the album cover cus it was supposed to be for a JC Penney ad.

- The band were finally able to flex their creative and musical muscles in this one :D
- Yeah this album is just basically "FUCK YOU KIRSHNER" in music form

- Idk why but this one sounds significantly different than the first two.

- It's a mix of both pop and psychedelia and it's very iconic.

- Again, it's a mix of pop and psychedelic, very cool
- Although it kinda makes the album's structure as a whole kinda strange imo.
- This is still my second most fave album tho.
