A Game of Clout: how @aminKnows and Co, used seductive coercion to disrupt a movement for social positing.
If you didn’t read my previous thread highlighting Anonymous’ breakdown of seductive coercion-

Seductive coercion is essentially a call to peaceful protests (a Headass ideal tbh) where you shame the reaction of others while putting yourself on a higher moral ground.
While some tried to blame the lootings on the BLM movement, it was easy to dispel that notion considering that most of the things being looted were medical necessities or home goods. Yes, some luxury storefronts were looted- but keep in mind that these are insured and backed by
banks. So for Amin to use his platform which is a platform built on the luxury influencer market that specializes in food (foodie), one has to ask, “with what background do you speak?”
Amin and Co have no history of fundraising, community leadership, or any sort of involvement with anything greater than themselves. While at first the intention to clean up a bank backed shopping strip may seem altruistic, if you were really a man of the community, you would know
That many of those businesses have pushed actual mom and pop shops out of the strip and into smaller avenues. You would also be up on game and know that many of those storefronts you wanted to clean up have actually closed down local businesses.
Let’s not even get into the long running real estate fraud being run by the owners of Bon Bini who burn down the store every couple of years to claim insurance.

That’s only a tip of the corruption.
But mom and pop shops, sure.
Not only did you use a demoralizing tactic to place yourself on a social moral stature, you actually divided a whole community.
Amin initially took credit for the 9am clean up until he was exposed and had to explain himself, even so, he glided right over it and gave them an ultra special shout-out because they “helped” him.
He used his platform to essentially shame the lootings which fuck the lootings, let them burn this whole shit down. We didn’t build it, we don’t benefit from it, none of this belongs to us. But yet he asked a community of people on unemployment due to a devastating pandemic-
To clean up a strip that has been known to discriminate and profile black bodies.

What has Fordham provided to black livelihood that fashion nova isn’t offering online?
Let’s talk about language and echo chambers. Tactics of propaganda.

Every single response that Amin has provided us is coded in a passive voice even though he’s the central character to this whole entire mess.

He thanks people for patience while ignoring the valid questions.
He retweets compliments creating an endoreality where criticism doesn’t exist and when criticism is acknowledge it is in passing, removing any validity from it.

Even though every single question regarding his silence and his actions are 100 percent valid.
Why did he leave the gofundme open long after they reached their original thousand dollar goal?

Why not return the money?

And why has it been so difficult to choose foundations that support small businesses instead of trying to target specific businesses that are insured?
Why start a nonprofit where you don’t have to detail where the money goes to and you can actually use the money at will and write it off as an organization expense?
Why work with a BID which is a force of gentrification this rendering your purpose of helping small businesses obsolete?

The math is not mathing.
One plus one is not adding up to two.
Let’s talk about optics, which is my favorite topic when it come to many of the uptown socialites.

Amin and co are known for wanting to capitalize on the attention market.

Let’s start with Amin who spends his time bragging about where he eats, who he knows, where he goes,
And most importantly what he wishes he had but can’t obtain.
