Happy summer, let’s get moody. My vibe for the summer is luxury castaway in a technicolor heat wave. Some of this is already true, specifically the aloneness!

I am current obsessed with coordinating linen sets and I intend to sew myself at least one or two before the end of the summer. I already have the patterns! I ordered the fabric!

I just want big fat rich colors and I also want a dinner party or maybe a tea party with a bunch of flowers. I am very bored of neutrals. I want to be very loud.

Since I am sewing a lot more, I’m thinking a lot more about details I want to include in garments, to make them flexible, lasting, and adaptable without alteration, using what I have already.

I did buy a red swim suit and so now I feel like this when I sunbath on the porch even if no one will ever see me again.

I just want to lay facedown in some lush grass, I am a simple woman with simple tastes now. Please sit 6 feet from me but please sit with me! In silence preferably.

Voluminous party are my new passion and I just ordered cobalt linen to dream some big pants dreams. Dream big. That’s what they mean right?

Unfortunately while I feel big and loud these are my reality, they are nice things but I miss enormous conversations and bigger hugs.

No new shoes, but the same beloved and favorite shoes, delicate lace up sandals and slide on leathers and general sort of hiking boots that can be worn otherwise.

Similarly I have been not shopping much, mostly because I am trying to be responsible but also because I’ve been reallocating my shopping to donations. I might finally get myself an amphora from @RitaJKing for my 30th birthday though...
