THREAD:

THE SILENT MAJORITY

1. 4 years post Brexit & the Blob have reverted to type, labelling everyone they disagree with 'racist'.
2. The Blob think they've got a virtuous case this time. But the Blob are on their way out & might as well throw everything at their cause in a dummy spitting extravaganza of post truth extremism.
3. But they've backed the wrong horse this time. Whilst there were valid arguments on either side of the Brexit debate, the BLM protests don't have validity. Destroying heritage & artifacts without democratic consent, discussion or approval is wrong.
4. Not only is it wrong, it's counter productive as race relations have now reversed by a generation.

To understand the divisions now made, one has to go back to New Labour policy & the growing stresses this country has been subjected to.
5. We were told in 2005 that immigration from Poland would be around 15,000 people per year. It's estimated there were something in the region of 250,000 in the first year. It was more. No one knows the true figures, no one knows who is here. The figures just aren't available.
6. My local towns haven't coped with the immigration. Infrastructure has collapsed. Can't get an NHS dentist, struggle to register with a G.P. and the local A & E's have closed. It's now 38 miles to the nearest hospital... on local roads which have also collapsed.
7. The black economy flourishes. Border agencies can't keep up & just raid a few farms/businesses now & then. But there's always a new supply of cheap labour to replace those busted. The lost tax revenues must be colossal.
8. So localities pick up the bill for the exploitation of labour. Those who fall out of favour hit the streets & the bottle, or shoot up in the little park near the Church which used to be a nice place to sit for a while.

But don't mention it - it's racism if you do.
9. Businesses evolve around the resources available & if that resource is an endless supply of cheap, unskilled labour, there's little wonder forgotten towns are hubs for warehouses selling goods manufactured in the far east, picked/packed by an exploited, expendable workforce.
10. It's been a race to the bottom for years.

Low inflation is an illusion - wage stagnation is the only thing keeping inflation down - all other essential expenditures have risen. Rents, insurance, travel, food, utilities - they've all increased.
11. Mix that with an increase in zero hours contracts & agency work & you soon have a population of simmering, stressed & discontented people.

They've had 4 years of being told how great mass immigration is for the economy.
12. That yarn was never going to fly. You can't tell people who've experienced decline & increased debt that they've never had it so good. People voted for a root & branch change. It's taken longer than expected to make a new start & we're not there yet.
13. But people had hope that in a few years those shitty warehouse jobs would be replaced with something a bit better. Something with an achievement at the end of each day, rather than a pick list of imported goods stacked on pallets, ready to be loaded & transported.
14. Soulless jobs rip the soul out of communities. Not everyone wants a 'thinking job', but everyone wants to feel they're contributing to something worthwhile. Shipyard workers must have felt a great sense of achievement when a mighty sea vessel was completed.
15. Their role may only have been minimal in the overall construction, but to build something great as a collective is a source of pride.

I come from a mining family & know how important that sense of community & pride is.
16. I now live in a rural community & see the same pattern. I know of only 1 person in my village who works in agriculture now.

The Country has been systematically raped of its industries & trades.
17. So here we are with the media having another hissy over BLM. They fail to notice the real difficulties this Country has faced & the real hardship suffered by many.

They fail to appreciate that people have a quiet sense of pride that has nothing to do with 'far right'.
18. A life of urban entitlement has blinded them to the real issues facing the country. 'White privilege' is perhaps better described as postcode privilege.

My grandad went to work down the pit aged 14 & was killed in a mining accident in 1963 at the age of 63.
19. I never got to meet him.

Every normal family will have similar tales of hardship & tragedy.

And that's why the MSM have really messed up this time.

They've misjudged the mood outside the bubble & fail to see the family histories of how we got here.
20. It's our turn & our communities have waited for years for a chance to rebuild.

The Blob are a disgrace to dismiss that & a disgrace to lazily label all those who speak out as racists.

You're not going to wreck & divide our Country. Not this time. Not ever. Shame on you.
