Question for any WOMEN TV/Film creatives (pre-WGA or pro) who want to answer. Dudes... please just sit this one out.

How often have you had a man explain to you how to do *your* job? I.e If you tell them/they know you’re a TV writer, they then lecture you on how TV is written.

This was both heartbreaking but also so necessary. Thank you to everyone who shared, and anyone who does from here on out. Will be referring this thread to many, and learning from it myself.

Also, women, feel free to drop any suggestions on how men can help and be better allies.
