@NSG, one of the UK’s waviest group, just dropped #ROOTS, a top contender for project of the year

This half-Ghanaian & half-Nigerian group creates vibes for their fans through their personality + production choice + catchy hooks & witty lyrics

As members of the African Diaspora, @NSG upholds it’s connection to Africa and West Indian influences throughout their music while staying true to East London

Hence, why the tape is called Roots.

“Political Badness” is a smooth intro to the tape & adds a more Caribbean sound with the inclusion of Randy Valentine, @RV_TROOTS (Jamaican reggae artist). The ‘Hey Arthur’ theme song inclusion is too wavy

“Lupita”, which samples New York artist, Foxy Brown’s ‘Get Me Home’ & “Jorja” are both tunes dedicated to show love towards black women

“Grandad” & “Why Stress” captures the carefree mood which is heavily promoted in their music

“Tinder” & “Samba” are club bangers that makes us all wish we could pull up to motives with the bros

“Nonsense” is a wavy tune with UK legend, @OfficialChip

“dRuNk gUiTaR” captures a distinct flow that further emphasizes the talent and range of NSG

“OT Bop” “Options” & “Trust Issues” were all 3 heavy dance crazes from the last couple years that created huge anticipation for the project

Song called “Roots” + their recent Ghana/Nigeria Vlog + their “Ourself” Video all featured their project’s theme of the group capturing vibes while in West Africa

In January 2020, WavyFooty was able to head back to Ghana and can affirm that the feeling of being home with family in such environments is more than uplifting.

This tape easily makes all of us wish we could have a normal summer to bump their tunes & create memories with our people
