I lived in Louisville (Jefferson Co.) and Lexington (Fayette Co.) - the two biggest cities in Kentucky - for half my life. ... there are free rides to the polling places, early voting has been available for weeks, there’s a huge push for mail-in ballots, the 1 polling place in Louisville is actually the giant Expo Center. And that’s not to mention grassroots efforts to get people to the polls (2/x)
...I’m trying to learn more about what voter suppression does and doesn’t look like. Because to what extent do those efforts I listed above mitigate voter suppression? In the meantime, I’m going to add resources to this thread that will help Kentucky voters get to the polls (4/x)
