Which tbh is fine. Saliba is far more comfortable on the right, but actually would prefer pairing him w Mustafi who’s been good under Arteta (that is if he stays, 1 year left on contract). Complementary too

We need to get rid of Sokratis asap, while I think the Mavropanos dream is coming to an end.

Assuming Luiz doesn’t extend that leaves us starting next season with: Mari (injury), Chambers (returning from injury), Holding, Saliba, & Mustafi (final year, if he’s even still here?).

That seems a bit light and really one injury away from a crisis - both Holding and Saliba are injury prone too - so maybe Luiz or Sokratis will still be around? Defs if Mustafi goes.

Not great but not awful, though signing someone like Gabriel would be such a boost in this area.
