(1/5) It’s horrifying to hear the sorts of news that has been surfacing lately – sexual assault stories, allegations, inhuman cruelty in shocking places. My own friends that I care about deeply? My own, beloved industry that I work everyday?

It’s such a serious topic that I feel
(2/5) uncomfortable even voicing what I have to say – the eyes and ears of the world should be on the victims, the mistreated, and how to solve these problems – here and now, preventing this from happening in the future.

But it feels wrong to stay silent – these people need
(3/5) allies. Some of them are my closest friends. To all my Twitter friends who have been sharing their stories – I believe you, I’m so sorry all of that happened to you, and as I continue my career in the video games industry, I’m going to fight to make it a better place where
(4/5) mistreatment doesn’t happen and isn’t allowed.

Video games, esports, Youtube, Twitch are meant to be entertainment – positive forces for fun and good. The presence of sexual abuse in them, or any industry, is a silent poison to its soul.
(5/5) Anyway, I'm sorry that my Twitter has been such a downer lately, but I really feel like sometimes you gotta speak up on things that matter. I hope you folks can understand that, and I appreciate you listening.
