I dislike not being able to fully control my reading modes bwgwnhwnsh I don't know if this will make any sense and I don't even know if "modes" is the right word for ktt instead of style... but here it goes, whenever I start to read something my brain usually goes into a "mode"

it depends on whatever I'm reading. For example, if I'm reading school journals/papers I tend to read super fast and grasp the core information easily; this was a 100% developed skill that happened kinda naturally from my years in highschool and college. When I'm reading smthing

out of enjoyment, let's say some fanfic afhfqgfahf my brain stays on fast reading mode but I've to re-read a lot in order to remember stuff later, like I have to double take the information, I think this is because emotions can be or are involved, so even though the speed stays

the same I do spend more time to digest the feelings and to take in the scenery that I build in my head.
